Been around the Northeast Ohio music scene for a long, long time.
And one thing I can say with total conviction is when you're talking about music in Cleveland, Akron, and beyond, you're talking about it as a living, breathing thing, not just a page out of some history book.
I could rattle off a bunch of names like the James Gang, Glass Harp, Raspberries, Pere Ubu, Devo, Dead Boys, Black Keys, and on and on.
But for each one of those names, there were countless unknowns who also wanted to have their music heard.
And there still are.
The Summit "Studio C Sessions" provides a platform not just for national and internationally-known acts, but for all those fresh-faced kids down the street who at this moment are likely making a racket in their basement that will hopefully be the soundtrack to their dreams one day.
Now, let's get back to "Studio C Sessions" on PBS Western Reserve.
