(audience cheers and applauds) - The role of the troubadour has a rich, varied history all the way back to the Middle Ages.
So, hi, I'm Ben Gage and the reason why I'm such a fan is that I like to think of myself as a troubadour.
It's the person who would compose and perform the songs that they had written themselves.
And that's really not too unlike what happens right here at Studio C. It's a unique, diverse venue right at The Summit FM that has hosted and hosts all kinds of musical genres, textures, and artists from all over.
It's a space created equal for those who appreciate all kinds, whether it be performers or listener members.
Troubadours, kind of like me, have helped sustained music and culture for centuries and that genre and many other genres continue to evolve, but only with your support.
So thank you for that.
And now back to the music on this episode of "Studio C Sessions" on PBS Western Reserve.
